Role Summary
Principal Quality Control Scientist. Lead initiatives in assay development, characterization, optimization, transfer, validation, and investigations in a fast-paced, collaborative quality control environment.
A Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing experimental plans to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Reviewing and authoring detailed technical reports, performing advanced data analysis, and presenting findings.
- Evaluating method qualifications and validations for their suitability in routine operations and contributing to health authority submissions.
- Monitoring routine testing performance, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Performing and reviewing routine testing as needed to support Quality Control lab operations.
Qualifications
- Required: BS in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience. A PhD strongly preferred.
Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with Gel Electrophoresis, PCR, and ELISA techniques.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving with a track record of resolving technical challenges.
- Experience in assay development, validation, and troubleshooting within a Quality Control laboratory.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Education
- BS in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related field; PhD strongly preferred.
