Principal Product Technical Leader β Site Technical Services
What You Will Achieve
- Define and champion portfolio philosophy, product strategy, and long-range technical direction.
- Represent the site in network governance forums and cross-functional teams; mentor and develop junior staff.
- Lead complex site and network initiatives, including project execution, issue resolution, and strategic decision-making.
- Own site-level product lifecycle management (control strategy governance, validated-state compliance, risk management, regulatory strategy alignment).
- Drive site-level product supply reliability and operational performance via process robustness improvements, cost-of-goods optimization, loss reduction, and manufacturability enhancements.
- Provide technical stewardship for commercial and clinical portfolios through troubleshooting, investigations, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- BA/BS with 6+ years of experience or MBA/MS with 5+ years of experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; collaborate across business functions
- Experience in project management and leading complex projects
- Ability to develop and manage plans to achieve objectives
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- 12+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Experience with problem-solving, negotiations, presentations; DAMIC (Six Sigma) tools; continuous improvement
- Knowledge of technology transfer and biopharmaceutical drug substance manufacturing; impact of technical change
- Experience organizing/planning/problem-solving for biopharmaceuticals (drug substances/compounds)
- Experience with regulatory submission strategy, audit responses, and technical discussions with health authorities
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Mathematical calculations, scientific computation, complex data analysis, verbal and written communication.
Travel/Work Schedule
- Occasional domestic and international travel; occasional off-hour support.
