Principal Product Engineer - Evinova

Role: Senior AI engineer responsible for designing, building, and architecting end-to-end AI-powered features within a product team, balancing rapid prototyping with scalable, maintainable solutions. Responsibilities include full-stack ownership of AI features such as agent architectures, RAG pipelines, model orchestration, and evaluation frameworks, with emphasis on robust, observable, and secure deployment. The role involves mentoring engineers, making strategic architectural decisions, and understanding existing systems to optimize technical direction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of software engineering experience with extensive hands-on work in AI-powered feature development; proven full-stack capability across application code, data, and infrastructure; significant AWS experience at scale; demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills. Preferred: experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, finance), multi-agent AI systems, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and product-led engineering cultures. The environment spans cloud (AWS), front-end (React, TypeScript), back-end (Node.js, Python), and AI infrastructure (Google ADK, Bedrock, Langfuse). The position may involve some team management and is based primarily in an in-office setting with flexible attendance expectations. Compensation ranges from $172,466 to $258,700 annually, with additional incentives and benefits.
