Principal Process Engineer

Role: Principal Process Engineer leading the design, development, and evaluation of new equipment, technologies, and single-use materials for biomanufacturing at Just-Evotec Biologics. Objectives: optimize manufacturing efficiency, support technology implementation, and ensure GMP compliance. Responsibilities: oversee equipment lifecycle management, evaluate and validate innovative technologies, collaborate on engineering design (including automation and utility support), and develop supporting documentation and SOPs. Qualifications: BS in engineering or sciences with 12+ years (or MS with 10+ years) in biopharma manufacturing; SME in cell culture, chromatography, filtration, viral clearance, and drug substance formulation; experience in GMP single-use systems, technology validation, and facility assessments. Preferred: expertise in continuous process strategies, DeltaV automation, and global team participation. High-Value: focus on cell culture bioprocessing, GMP single-use equipment, process validation, and cross-functional technical support within a biopharma manufacturing environment. Reporting: to the Director, Technical Operations, with cross-team collaboration across MSAT, process engineering, and manufacturing. Location: Redmond, WA, with a focus on technical leadership in a GMP biomanufacturing setting.
