Principal, Molding & Tooling Engineering

Role: Principal Molding & Tooling Engineer leading strategic initiatives in injection molding, mold/tooling design, and manufacturing optimization within Alcon's engineering team. Responsibilities: design and validate precision molds, optimize processes, troubleshoot equipment, support NPI, evaluate emerging tooling technologies, mentor junior staff, and ensure regulatory and quality compliance in a GxP environment. Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years), strong knowledge of scientific molding principles, hands-on expertise with injection molding, validation, hot runner systems, and automation; experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
