Principal Manufacturing Sciences & Technology Engineer

Role: Principal MSAT Engineer leading equipment selection, process validation, and technology transfer in drug product manufacturing within Regeneron's Process Sciences. Responsibilities include overseeing process transfer activities, reviewing cGMP batch documentation, monitoring compliance at CMOs, investigating deviations, and collaborating on process improvements. The role also entails leading equipment qualification, defining technical requirements with procurement, and supporting internal/external manufacturing operations. Requirements: BS/BA in Engineering or Chemical/Biomedical Engineering; 8+ years (Principal level) or 10+ years (Staff level) relevant experience in biopharma manufacturing, process validation, or technology transfer; strong industry knowledge of cGMP, regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, MHRA), and interactions with CMOs. High-value specifics include expertise in biologics or small molecule drug product manufacturing, process troubleshooting, and validation activities, with a focus on cGMP compliance. The role involves domestic and international travel (25-50%) and reports to MSAT management. Location: East Greenbush, NY, with a standard work schedule.
