Principal IT Systems Engineer (Reporting to Services Delivery Manager for Performance, Alerting & Observability)
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure performance and reliability.
- Configure and manage virtualized environments (virtual machines, storage, networking).
- Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain high availability, security, and resilient network resources.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Implement and manage change control processes to uphold system integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure IAM systems and infrastructure align with security policies/frameworks.
Qualifications / Required / Preferred Skills:
- Background in Windows Servers, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS & Oracle), and security operations.
- Experience with:
- SailPoint (identity governance/lifecycle management)
- CyberArk (privileged access management)
- Ivanti (exposure management)
- Nexthink (employee experience visibility/control)
- Axonious (environment visibility)
- High Performance Computing (HPC)
- PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting
- Virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (VM management/configuration)
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Principal IT Systems Engineer: 8+ years with data center technologies (VMware, NetApp, Dell EMC storage), backup solutions, and IT/security operations.
- Staff IT Systems Engineer: 10+ years with data center technologies (VMware, NetApp, Dell EMC storage), backup solutions, and IT/security operations.
- 3-5 years in system administration or network engineering desired; GMP environment compliance preferred.
- Certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, CCNA, SailPoint, CyberArk) are a plus.
- Preferred knowledge of IT compliance guidelines (PICS, CFR21 Part 11, Annex 11, GAMP).

Compensation:
- Salary range (annually): $92,200.00 - $176,000.00.
