Principal IT Portfolio Analyst (Financial Management)

About This Role

As a Principal IT Portfolio Analyst (Financial Management), you will play a crucial role in managing financial and sourcing support processes for the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) organization. You will collaborate with I&O team members to support financial management, analysis, and planning. You will also oversee sourcing support activities to ensure necessary goods and services are acquired on a timely basis. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the I&O organization's efficiency and cost-effectiveness, bringing significant value to the business. The role reports into the Head of Infrastructure Management Operations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage I&O financial processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee monthly accruals and review them for thoroughness and correctness.
• Support monthly forecasting by analyzing actuals and providing variance analysis for assigned cost centers.
• Collaborate with budget owners to update forecasts based on analysis.
• Identify cost savings opportunities.
• Track renewals and new purchases in the I&O contract database and update accordingly.
• Ensure that contract owners are made aware of upcoming renewals and work with them to track contract changes in the contract database, and update their budgets accordingly.
• Serve as the centralized owner for requesting purchase requisitions.
• Conduct training sessions on financial and sourcing processes as required.
• Participate in IT Management Office (ITMO) forums and initiatives as appropriate.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of work experience and education
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting at a cost center level.
• Advanced experience in MS Excel.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $118,000.00-$158,000.00. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity. Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
