Principal – IT Operations Management (Warren, NJ)
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement critical IT change and release management processes, work instructions, policies, and activities in compliance with ITIL V3.
- Design Change & Release functional design/requirements, policy, and procedures.
- Develop Change & Release management workflows (for tools).
- Train teams on change and release management processes and Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, plus 2 years of Change and Release Management experience.
- Experience with:
- Designing and implementing processes, work instructions, and activities in compliance with ITIL V3.
- Writing clear, concise, and accurate process documentation (e.g., knowledge articles; Change & Release functional design/requirements; policy and procedures).
- Developing and maintaining precise process documentation and accurate usage of Change & Release management tools.
- ServiceNow administration; ServiceNow Change & Release module and supported ITSM processes.
- ServiceNow Platform.
- JIRA, SharePoint, DevOps tools such as SVN (source code repository), continuous integration tools (Hudson, Jenkins), and other IT tracking tools.
- Configuration, Incident, Request, and Problem management standards and methodologies.
- Service management principles.
- SDLC processes involving multiple engineering efforts.
- Excel reporting.
- IT infrastructure, virtualization, security, app/dev, cloud models, and technological change.
- Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Accepts 2 years of work experience in lieu of the degree requirement; will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $150,550.00 - $184,700.00 per year.
