Principal IT Lab Integration Developer

Role: Principal or Senior IT Lab Integration Developer supporting regulated pharmaceutical laboratory environments. Objectives: design, develop, validate, and maintain integrations between lab instruments, middleware, enterprise systems, and data platforms to enable digital workflows aligned with GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 standards. Responsibilities: develop APIs, message queues, and file-based integrations (REST, SOAP, SFTP, JSON, XML); translate QC processes into automated orchestration solutions; support validation activities and ensure compliance; troubleshoot production issues; collaborate with QC, R&D, QA, IT, and external vendors; assist in audits and regulatory inspections. Requirements: BS/BA in IT, Mathematics, or related; 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Principal) of relevant experience; expertise connecting laboratory instruments like analyzers and liquid handlers to LIMS/ELN platforms; proficiency in RESTful APIs, middleware, Python or VBA; strong data governance knowledge; experience with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 preferred. High-value: regulated pharma environment, laboratory automation, API/middleware development, validation, compliance, GxP standards, biotech/pharma lab workflows. Location: Troy, NY; work hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm.
