Role: Principal I, Computational Modeling & Simulation Engineer, focusing on electrical simulation for medical device development. Objectives: support design validation, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance through advanced simulation of high-speed digital systems. Responsibilities: conduct Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis on interfaces like DDR4, MIPI, USB; develop and validate electromagnetic and circuit models; support virtual prototyping, perform trade studies, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for design improvements and verification activities; document methodologies and contribute to regulatory submissions. Requirements: Bachelorβs degree or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant experience; proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, SIwave, CST); knowledge of transmission lines, electromagnetic fields, PCB design, and scripting languages (Python, MATLAB). Preferred: experience in medical devices or embedded systems, EMI/EMC fundamentals, schematic and PCB layout tools.
