Principal Engineer – TSMS Packaging

Role: The TSMS Packaging Principal Engineer leads technical oversight at Lilly's greenfield Kenosha site, focusing on packaging material, equipment, and operations. Objectives include supporting startup, tech transfer, process validation, and sustaining commercial manufacturing of packaged products, ensuring compliance and process control. Responsibilities involve providing engineering support, leading risk assessments, troubleshooting, developing technical strategies, and aligning with global packaging standards. The role also encompasses mentoring, cross-site collaboration, and regulatory inspection support. Qualifications: Bachelor's in engineering or science, with at least 5 years supporting cGMP manufacturing, preferably in packaging operations. Skills include process validation, equipment qualification, vendor management, root cause analysis, and familiarity with serialization and packaging standards. Preferred: MS in packaging engineering, experience with greenfield site startup, and proficiency with systems like Veeva Vault, SAP.
