Principal - Engineer - Automation (DeltaV System Administrator)

Role: Principal Automation Engineer supporting the startup of Lilly's new API manufacturing facility in Houston, TX, focusing on DeltaV DCS platform design, validation, and system management. Responsibilities: lead design, delivery, validation, and ongoing administration of automation systems; develop site-specific DeltaV architecture; collaborate with quality, engineering, and external vendors; ensure compliance with cGMP, CSV standards, and data integrity; support GMP manufacturing operations post-project, including system upgrades. Requirements: Bachelor's in engineering or related science; 5+ years in DeltaV system administration, hardware design, and pharmaceutical manufacturing; experience with Windows Servers, virtual environments, and process automation. Preferred: familiarity with Kneat Validation, Veeva Vault; strong analytical and collaboration skills.
