Role: Principal Aseptic Equipment & Process Engineer leading engineering projects to optimize manufacturing processes within Bausch + Lomb's sterile eye health product facilities. Responsibilities: oversee design and implementation of equipment improvements, conduct root cause and failure mode analysis, develop KPIs for equipment reliability, manage CapEx projects, and support validation and documentation for aseptic packaging operations. Requirements: BS/MS in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering; 10+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing engineering, with expertise in process and packaging equipment, GMP regulations, and cleanroom environments. Skills: proven leadership in cross-functional technical teams, knowledge of ISO 5 standards, process validation, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, CAD (SolidWorks), RCA, FMEA, and GMP compliance. Preferred: advanced degree, PMP certification, and experience in process improvements within sterile manufacturing environments. High-Value: focus on aseptic fill/finish, GMP-compliant packaging, process validation, equipment qualification, and technology innovation. Work setup: based in Greenville, SC; primarily on-site with involvement in validation, maintenance, and process improvement projects.
