Role: Principal Data Scientist - Oncology within Johnson & Johnson's Data Science and Digital Health team, focusing on developing a scalable knowledge graph infrastructure for Oncology R&D data. Responsibilities: design and implement semantic data models, curate ontologies, develop ingestion pipelines, and enable AI-driven analytics and search functionalities; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Clinical Scientists, and IT for data standardization, integration, and deployment of infrastructure. Requirements: Ph.D. or Master's in bioengineering, computer science, or related fields; 5+ years in health informatics with expertise in knowledge graph construction, ontology development, and biomedical data integration; proficiency in semantic web technologies (SPARQL, RDF, OWL), graph databases, and large-scale biomedical datasets. Preferred: experience with NLP, RAG, and predictive modeling, DevOps tools, and clinical or genomics data. High-Value: oncology R&D, knowledge graphs, biomedical ontologies, RDF standards, clinical and genomics data, scalable infrastructure, and cross-functional collaboration. Work setup: onsite in Spring House PA (preferred), Cambridge MA, or San Diego CA, with <15% travel requirement.
