Role: Principal Data Scientist (Knowledge Graph Engineer) in Immunology within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's R&D Data Science & Digital Health team. Objectives: Develop and maintain a scalable, interoperable knowledge graph infrastructure to standardize and connect biomedical and clinical data across the Immunology R&D spectrum, enabling AI, search, and analytics. Responsibilities: design and implement graph data models; curate and extend biomedical ontologies; develop pipelines for data ingestion, normalization, and mapping; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on NLP, predictive modeling, and search tools; manage infrastructure deployment, scalability, and documentation. Requirements: PhD or master's in bioengineering, computer science, bioinformatics, or related fields; 5+ years in health informatics with experience in large-scale knowledge graphs, ontology development, and biomedical data integration; proficiency in semantic web technologies (SPARQL, RDF, OWL), graph databases (Neo4j, Neptune), programming, and data modeling; stakeholder management skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
