Principal Data Scientist

Role: Principal Data Scientist leading AI-driven data science tools within the Biometrics and Data Management group to support clinical drug development for cardiovascular, metabolic, and pulmonary indications. Responsibilities: develop, validate, and deploy scalable, secure data analytics infrastructure on AWS; collaborate with clinical scientists, biostatisticians, and data managers to understand needs; build production-grade models and frameworks; ensure solutions adhere to software engineering best practices; communicate results clearly. Requirements: Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; 12+ years (Bachelor's), 10+ (Master's), or 6+ (Ph.D.) in data science, with 5+ years coding in Python or R; expertise in machine learning, deep learning (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch); proven experience deploying models in production, API development, and cloud architectures; strong problem-solving skills; proficient with Github. Preferred: advanced degrees, cloud data pipeline design, containerization (Docker), LLMs, GenAI solutions, CI/CD pipelines.
