Key Responsibilities
- Integrate & curate data from research systems/artifacts to support analytics, modeling, machine learning, and investigation; translate requirements into data solutions.
- Manage, maintain, and improve Vertex Data Platform solutions that enable research and manufacturing/supply chain analytics teams.
- Estimate, architect, and execute delivery of critical data solutions across research, manufacturing, and supply chain domains with DSE leadership.
- Manage data engineers to maintain compliant, timely, secure, and reliable research data workloads; partner with DSE MLOps for complex, curated/model-ready workloads.
- Advocate for process enhancements focused on efficiency, scale, and data connectivity.
Qualifications
- 9+ years development experience using Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Redshift, or equivalent data technologies.
- 9+ years pharmaceutical research experience, emphasizing data engineering, data science, data integrity, and data governance.
- Prior experience leading data engineering projects and teams.
- 3+ years using Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or equivalent cloud data platforms.
- Experience with pipeline technologies (Astronomer/Airflow, MLflow, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple collaborative projects, and build stakeholder rapport.
- Ability/willingness to teach and support others; enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Strong verbal/written communication; working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
Pay Range
- $148,000 - $222,000
