Principal Data Architect, CMC Digital

Role: Principal Data Architect responsible for designing and governing enterprise data architecture for CMC data, enabling AI-readiness and real-time integration across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations. Responsibilities: define target-state architecture, develop integration patterns for control systems and automation, establish data standards and models, create reusable architecture artifacts, and mentor engineering teams. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science; 7+ years in data architecture or engineering; 4+ years supporting regulated environments in pharma, biotech, or manufacturing; experience with real-time operational data, enterprise systems (ERP, QMS, MES, LIMS), and data modeling; knowledge of GxP, data governance, and compliance. Preferred: experience with MES, LIMS, OT/IT integration, cloud data tools (Snowflake, Redshift), semantic modeling, AI-ready architectures, and GxP validation.
