Primary Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and managing cyber security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives
• Assessing compliance of Bayer processes
• Monitoring critical IT security deliverables
• Providing audit support for cybersecurity teams
• Managing IT security exceptions
• Performing risk management activities
• Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Preparing regular management reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Monitoring regulatory changes and industry trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and software
• Understanding of network infrastructure and security protocols
• Experience in information security management
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks
• VACC Leadership Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of cyber security experience
• Previous GRC role experience
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
