Principal Business Analyst - Velocigene

Role: Principal Business Analyst in Velocigene supporting scientific research and preclinical development. Objectives: translate lab and data processes into technical requirements, optimize data workflows, and ensure data quality. Responsibilities: document current and future business processes, map data flows and system connections, write SQL queries for data investigation, maintain request backlogs, collaborate with scientists and IT to improve systems, troubleshoot data issues, and adapt priorities in a research environment. Requirements: Master’s in life sciences plus 5–8+ years in biotech/pharma research settings; experience with LIMS, SQL, data modeling, biological lab techniques, and IT project lifecycle. Preferred: experience managing software projects and biotech/ pharma domain knowledge. High-Value: focus on data management for biological research, bioinformatics, research lab tools, and scientific data systems.
