This position is site-based and requires a presence on-site three days per week.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst, Commercial Operations IT to partner with Lantheus IT, vendors and business users to support and enhance Commercial platforms. This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and third parties, focusing on the Commercial Operations space. This role will be critical in collecting, clarifying, and translating business requirements into detailed documentation and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and external vendors/partners, to support operational improvements, systems enhancements, and the seamless implementation of new technology solutions. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships with business partners and vendors are essential for success in this position.

Essential Functions

Systems Design, Implementation & Project Priorities:

Lead the analysis, design, and deployment of systems within Commercial Operations, partnering with internal teams and third parties for seamless implementation and ongoing support. Prioritize and coordinate tasks, balancing business needs, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely project completion. Oversee project planning, integrations, and implementations while identifying opportunities for system and process improvements.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

Lead the gathering and documentation of business requirements, creating actionable plans for technical development, process enhancements, and system optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Facilitate collaboration with teams across Commercial Operations, Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing, and external vendors to identify business process inefficiencies and system requirements, ensuring solutions align with operational goals.

System Testing & Deployment:

Support the testing and implementation of system enhancements, ensuring thorough testing phases and alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure all business processes and systems comply with relevant regulations such as SOX, GxP, and other industry standards.

Methodology & Best Practices:

Utilize SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies to guide the requirements gathering, solution development, and implementation process.

ALM Tool Utilization:

Manage the project lifecycle using ALM tools, ensuring that requirements, testing, and implementation processes are tracked and documented for efficient project delivery.

Minimum Skills And Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8+ plus years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
  • Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Understanding of ITGC, SOX controls, and industry compliance standards.
  • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional teams, vendors, and third parties to deliver solutions that drive business value.
  • Familiarity with Veeva CRM to manage and optimize sales and customer relationship workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and sales processes within commercial operations, such as lead management, sales forecasting, pricing, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of data management and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and similar platforms to create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for insights. Familiarity with MDM (Master Data Management), Data Lake, Databricks, and Informatica data-related tools is a plus.
  • Proven experience in utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project management, business analysis, and systems development. Skilled at thriving in fast-paced environments while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with BPM (Business Process Modeling) tools. Create clear and concise documentation for business processes, including process flows, workflows, and guidelines.
  • Proficiency with ALM tools to manage requirements, testing, and project lifecycle (ALM tools experience preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
