Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated scientist with knowledge and experience of cellular and molecular biology. You will report to a Ph.D. senior scientist and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Focus: Independently design, develop, and validate biological assays to test and analyze molecule activities; investigate mechanisms of action; evaluate performance in animal disease models; and deliver preclinical evidence for future clinical testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently develops preclinical (in vitro, ex vivo, in vivo) translational models of skin and/or hair disorders using state-of-the-art methodologies.
- Evaluates therapeutic candidates in preclinical models for evidence of potential efficacy to advance for future clinical testing.
- Independently analyzes, interprets, and presents experimental data.
- Adheres to good research practices and maintains laboratory e-notebooks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. (5–8 years experience) or M.S. (3–5 years experience) in biology, molecular and cellular immunology, or a related biological area.
- Experience in an academic institute or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Additional Preferences:
- Extensive skin and hair biology research, particularly with 3D skin/hair models.
- Experience with in vivo skin quality and hair growth models.
- Familiarity with histology/IF, transcriptomics, proteomics, and flow cytometry methods.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Anticipated wage: $71,250–$187,000.
