Principal Analyst, CGT Agentic Solutions

Role: Principal Analyst, CGT Agentic Solutions, responsible for designing and implementing AI-enabled and agentic technologies within Vertex's Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) operations. Main objectives include automating workflows, integrating enterprise data ecosystems, and advancing digital solutions to improve operational efficiency across commercial, development, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions. Responsibilities encompass translating operational needs into system designs, collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a highly regulated biotech environment. The role involves working with AI/ML applications, large language models, system integration, and automation frameworks, with a focus on security, data governance, and validation. Key technical skills include API design, data modeling, workflow automation, and familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps practices. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a technical/scientific discipline, 5+ years in biotech or pharma technical solution delivery, and experience with conversational AI, GxP systems, and regulated platform deployment. Domain expertise in Cell and Gene Therapy, biomanufacturing, or quality systems is advantageous. The position offers a hybrid or onsite work setup with flexible scheduling, reporting to senior technical leadership, and a pay range of $142,800 to $214,200.
