Prep Operator II

Role: Manufacturing Technician supporting Pfizer's pharmaceutical production, with a focus on ensuring seamless operations of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: execute manufacturing operations aligned with SOPs, batch records, and controls; assist with equipment installation, start-up, and troubleshooting for new product introductions; identify process improvements and implement corrective actions; maintain GMP compliance and safety standards; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools; mentor less-experienced colleagues. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; 4+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with proficiency in continuous centrifugation, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and membrane filtration; knowledge of GMP and Lean principles; strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; excellent documentation and teamwork abilities. Preferred: Bachelor's degree, experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or start-up environments, familiarity with process improvement and AI tools. High-Value: biologics manufacturing, sterile operations, GMP compliance, process troubleshooting, maintenance of safety and quality standards. Work setup: on-premise at Rocky Mount, NC, with physical demands including long standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in controlled cleanroom environments.
