Role Overview
- Perform preclinical IND-enabling pharmacology and toxicology studies to support pipeline programs.
- Use immunology/immune-oncology expertise to support preclinical cell therapy studies from discovery through first-in-human trials and through marketing authorization.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of cell-based immunotherapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate assays; design, optimize, and implement IND-enabling studies.
- Contribute to creation, review, and approval of prospective standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Execute in vitro and in vivo IND-enabling studies.
- Record experiments in an electronic laboratory notebook; document deviations.
- Analyze and report processed data in study reports.
- Design and support in vitro IND-enabling studies to assess efficacy and safety of cell therapies.
- Support preparation of scientific and regulatory documents for IND-enabling preclinical studies.
Requirements
- Work independently and report directly to the Director of Preclinical Pharmacology and Toxicology.
- Demonstrate competency/professionalism using the scientific method to design, execute, and troubleshoot in vitro laboratory experiments.
