Role: Preclinical Safety Profiling Laboratory Associate supporting early-stage drug discovery within Novartis's Translational Medicine Unit. Responsibilities: perform in-vitro biochemical and cell-based assays to evaluate off-target activities, maintain cell cultures, develop and optimize assays, and support safety profiling for small molecule projects from discovery through preclinical candidates. Contribute to cross-functional early safety collaborations, communicate findings effectively, and ensure data quality and compliance. Requirements: BS with 5+ years or MVSc/MS/M.Pharm with 2+ years in pharmacology/toxicology; experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, data integrity, and early drug discovery processes; strong communication, data visualization, and project coordination skills.
