Role: Precision Controls Engineer responsible for developing and supporting ultra-precision manufacturing control systems with nanometer accuracy. Core responsibilities include designing advanced motion control solutions, mitigating positioning errors, and managing capital equipment projects from requirements to delivery. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Science; preferably a Master’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; 5+ years designing motion control systems for manufacturing; experience with error budgeting, ultra-precision metrology, linear motors, high-resolution encoders, and CNC or advanced control platforms (e.g., DeltaTau, Newport). Skills in electrical system design (AutoCAD Electrical, ePlan), embedded software (C/C++, LabVIEW, TwinCAT) are preferred.
