The Manufacturing Scheduler in Poultry is responsible for scheduling orders for production by working with supply chain to review customer demand, agreeing with process orders released by supply chain, ensuring production labs and manpower can accommodate requests for timely completion. Serves as a backup for team leaders to support colleague engagement and direct the hourly workforce. Conducts activities and makes decisions in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Zoetis Values, and global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), and environmental guidelines as appropriate.

Position Responsibilities:
- Review and understand Poultry lab capacities and capabilities.
- Communicate with supply chain to support fulfillment of process orders.
- Understand timing/importance of process orders through SAP.
- Ensure timely release of process orders via coordination with Process Specialist, Quality, Regulatory, EHS, Finance, Maintenance, capital project managers, and Operational Excellence.
- Participate in annual budget process and quarterly financial reviews.
- Manage multiple production schedules; create long- and short-term schedules.
- Participate in floor/lab operations, clean room audits, department meetings, shift changes.
- Flexible daily start time; available for on-call support in evenings, nights, weekends.
- Communicate with team leaders to continuously improve production workflow and lab/team capabilities.
- Participate in safety investigations and monthly safety meetings.
- Participate/lead special projects as directed.
- Learn/support Manufacturing Batch Record Review and applicable documentation.

Education and Experience/Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with 2–4 years leadership OR BS/MS/MBA with 0–2 years leadership OR minimum 3 years relevant experience in a biologics manufacturing site.
- Relevant manufacturing/analytical experience in microbiology/biology/engineering/scientific discipline.
- Leadership competencies; ability to interact with all levels and achieve results.
- Knowledge of product flow through Poultry manufacturing facilities (preferred).
- Strong analytical/problem resolution skills.
- SAP knowledge (MPS, MRP, inventory principles) and SAP Enterprise Resource System.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication/interpersonal leadership skills.
- Commitment to product quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of 9CFR, EU regulations, GMPs, GLPs.
- Trackwise preferred; Operational Excellence tools (DMAIC, Minitab, lean) preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Sit/walk/stand long periods; wear a respirator; reach, bend/stoop, kneel, push/pull, handle/grip frequently; work 40 hours with overtime as needed; lift/carry 5–25 lbs.
