Postdoctoral Scientist - Lysosomal Biology & Neuroprotective Mechanisms

Role: Postdoctoral Scientist specializing in lysosomal biology within Lilly's Gene Therapy organization, focusing on metabolic regulation and cellular protection mechanisms. Responsibilities include designing and executing multi-omics assays (lipidomics, metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics), developing biomarkers of lysosomal health, and applying bioanalytical techniques across peripheral and CNS tissues. The role involves mechanistic pathway analysis, in vivo study design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to investigate lysosomal function in metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. Requirements: PhD in Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Molecular or Cell Biology; extensive experience with LC-MS/MS-based omics assays, immunoproteomics, ELISA, and gene expression platforms; authorized to work in the US. Preferred skills include RNAseq or additional transcriptomic profiling. The position offers scientific oversight of external CRO studies and aims for peer-reviewed publications. This fixed-term, two-year role (extendable to four) is based in Boston, MA, requiring onsite laboratory work and regular collaboration with Lilly's Indianapolis research teams.
