Postdoctoral Scientist – Fibrosis, Liver Disease

Role: Postdoctoral scientist in the Inflammation Biology group focusing on chronic fibrotic liver diseases such as MASH, PBC, and PSC. Main objectives include uncovering pathogenic mechanisms and identifying therapeutic targets using advanced omics datasets and disease models. Responsibilities: lead independent research projects utilizing single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, employ mouse genetic and pharmacological approaches, develop ex vivo models, and drive publications and conference presentations. Qualifications: Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or related field; at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication; proficiency in mammalian cell biology and biochemistry. Preferred skills: expertise in cell/molecular biology, imaging, primary cell culture, CRISPR, flow cytometry, and working with mouse models; experience with multiomic data analysis and complex co-culture systems.
