Role: Experimental postdoctoral scientist in Lilly's Drug Delivery group, focusing on developing ultrasound-enhanced delivery platforms utilizing micro/nanobubbles for therapeutics such as antibodies and peptides. Responsibilities: formulate lipid-based carriers, develop bioconjugation chemistries, conduct extensive characterization of formulations, and collaborate on ultrasound-mediated delivery experiments; present findings and publish research. Requirements: PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field within the last 3 years; expert-level practical skills in lipid formulations, colloid/interface science, bioconjugation, and particulate characterization techniques; strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; authorized to work in the US. Preferred: experience conjugating antibodies/peptides, understanding of drug delivery mechanisms, familiarity with focused ultrasound or external delivery systems, and in vitro/in vivo assessment expertise.
