Postdoctoral Fellow - Neurology Research

Role: Postdoctoral Fellow in Neurology Research focused on cellular and molecular mechanisms of white matter injury and repair within Ionis's RNA therapeutics environment. Responsibilities: design and execute innovative experiments using cellular and animal models, employ molecular, imaging, and OMICS techniques to identify therapeutic targets, analyze data, and communicate findings through publications and presentations. Requirements: Ph.D. in Neurobiology, Cell Biology, or related field; strong publication record; experience in oligodendrocyte biology, myelination, developmental neuroscience, or related areas; proficiency with human iPSC culture, transcriptomics, molecular biology, and histological techniques; experience with rodent models preferred. High-Value: research in neurodegeneration, myelination, RNA-based therapies, and translational approaches relevant to neurological disorders. Work setup: onsite in Carlsbad, California, with a focus on innovative, multidisciplinary research.
