Role Summary

Postdoctoral Fellow at Regeneron. The program provides up to four years of formal postdoc training for early career scientists who have completed graduate school and earned a PhD (or MDs, DVMs, etc.). The goal is to conduct creative mechanistic exploratory research that leads to publications; the program is academic in nature and not focused on Regeneron therapeutic agents.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct forward-looking and innovative research to address a novel scientific question with mentor guidance.
  • Publish and disseminate data via external conferences and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Assist with mentoring and guiding interns and other junior trainees.
  • Participate in postdoctoral program activities such as weekly meetings and the annual research conference.
  • Present data internally at lab meetings, trainee meetings, and company-wide seminars.
  • Provide reports of research progress to supervisors and program staff.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Earlier career stage: seeking first postdoctoral training or < 1 year of postdoctoral experience.
  • Outstanding scientific skills, including critical and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrated publication success in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact dynamically and constructively with peers and cross-functionally when applicable.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Education
