Role: Postdoctoral Research Fellow in CNS pharmacology within Lilly's Psychiatry and Neuronal Health group, focusing on reward, arousal, and stress-related neural circuits. Responsibilities: design and conduct in vivo experiments using fiber photometry, microdialysis, and behavioral models (e.g., IV self-administration, extinction, reinstatement) in rodents; perform surgeries such as viral injections and fiber implantations; analyze multimodal datasets; support human postmortem tissue studies; author scientific publications and present findings. Requirements: Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or related field, recent completion (last 1–3 years); hands-on experience with fiber photometry, rodent stereotaxic surgeries, and behavioral pharmacology models; microdialysis expertise; authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Preferred: familiarity with reward/stress neurocircuitry, optogenetics, chemogenetics, stereology, and advanced data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python). High-value: CNS drug discovery, circuit-level in vivo techniques, neurochemical and behavioral assays, and involvement in preclinical research. Work setup: Postdoctoral appointment with mentorship, available at Lilly's location; no explicit travel requirements noted.
