Role: Postdoctoral scientist specializing in human stem cell neurobiology and small molecule pharmacology, focusing on neurodegeneration. Responsibilities: establish and characterize human iPSC-derived neuronal models, including co-cultures and disease-relevant genotypes; design high content imaging experiments to elucidate mechanisms of small molecule inhibitors; develop quantitative analysis methods for large datasets; and contribute to small molecule drug discovery approaches. Requirements: PhD in neuroscience, pharmacology, cell or molecular biology, with completion by January 2027; experience with human neuronal models, high content imaging, and data analysis; knowledge of neurodegenerative disease mechanisms; proficiency in molecular and cell biology techniques; and familiarity with cellular assay technologies. Preferred: background in computational biology, stem cell engineering, assay miniaturization, and automation.
