Post-Doc Scientist – Parenteral Product Network – TSMS Sterility Assurance and Microbiology Support

Role: Post-Doctoral Scientist supporting Sterility Assurance and Microbiology within Lilly's new technical services laboratory. Key objectives include developing and optimizing aseptic manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in sterility control strategies across Lilly's manufacturing network. Responsibilities involve designing experiments, providing technical leadership and mentorship to site SMEs, benchmarking industry trends, supporting new technology development with R&D, and maintaining strong scientific documentation. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields; demonstrated experience in microbiology and aseptic techniques; peer-reviewed publications; US work authorization. Preferred: 2-year fixed-term role with potential extension, self-motivation, strong organizational and communication skills, experience with laboratory microbiology testing, data analysis, and GMP understanding.
