Role: Postdoctoral scientist specializing in cellular senescence, fibrosis, and immune-based therapeutics for lung diseases such as IPF and ILD. Objectives include establishing and characterizing models of senescence in fibrotic lung tissue, identifying cell-surface markers, and developing immune strategies to eliminate pathological senescent cells, aiming for therapeutic innovation in senolytics. Responsibilities encompass working with cellular, iPSC-derived, and in vivo fibrosis models; validating senescence markers; evaluating senolytic efficacy; and collaborating with internal teams and external partners, with scientific dissemination activities. Qualifications: PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Aging Biology, or related fields; experience with cellular senescence, fibrosis, immunology, or therapeutic modalities; strong publication record; eligible to work full-time in the U.S. (citizenship or permanent residence). Preferred skills include expertise in human tissue analysis, immune cell biology, and advanced datasets such as proteomics or single-cell analysis. Experience with disease-relevant human tissue, in vivo models, and cellular differentiation is advantageous. Work setup: Fixed-term, two-year role based in the U.S., with potential extension; remote or hybrid options not specified. No travel requirements detailed.
