Portfolio Lead (USB U & OBU DD&T)
Accountabilities
- Own and maintain the integrated run and investment portfolio across USBU and OBU DD&T; ensure portfolio data accuracy, completeness, and currency.
- Track portfolio health across the full lifecycle (ideation through delivery and value realization).
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
- Define and monitor value realization frameworks and KPIs; partner to capture/report benefits vs. committed business cases.
- Flag at-risk investments and drive corrective action with stakeholders.
- Lead portfolio contributions to annual and mid-year business planning cycles.
- Manage demand intake and prioritization aligned to strategic objectives.
- Optimize portfolio via scenario planning and capacity analysis to maximize ROI.
- Prepare and facilitate portfolio review forums with decision packages and tradeoff analyses.
- Enable data-driven prioritization/tradeoff decisions (risk, cost, value); maintain governance cadence and follow-through.
- Represent USBU/OBU DD&T in enterprise portfolio forums; identify synergies and align processes/tools/ways of working to enterprise standards.
- Continuously improve portfolio management processes, tools, and templates; serve as SME; support development/maturation of the portfolio operating model.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in technology, consulting, pharmaceuticals, or similar.
- Prior consulting experience preferred.
- Proven experience managing enterprise/technology portfolios in a matrixed organization.
- Proficiency in portfolio management tools.
- Experience designing/facilitating governance forums and portfolio review cadences.
- Ability to develop decision-ready materials and tradeoff frameworks for senior leadership.
- Knowledge of enterprise portfolio management standards/best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (build trust, listen, ask effective questions).
