Plasma Processing Technician

Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma, ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety standards. Responsibilities: perform accurate plasma collection, verify labeling, operate sterilization equipment, monitor storage conditions, document donor data, and maintain a clean work environment. May assist with shipping, disposal, and cross-training in other areas. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred minimum of 3 months lab or warehouse experience; capable of basic math and following instructions. High-Value: involves handling blood-borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and working in a fast-paced environment; physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs; OT and extended hours may be required. Work setup: physical presence in a laboratory or blood center setting, with PPE usage and safety protocols.
