Plasma Processing Technician

Role: Responsible for the collection, labeling, processing, storage, and shipping of plasma samples in a biopharma setting, supporting donor plasma programs. Responsibilities: ensure compliance with SOPs, verify accurate labeling, maintain sample integrity via sterile techniques, monitor storage equipment, record data in electronic systems, and uphold safety and confidentiality standards. May assist with shipping, disposal, and cross-train in other tasks. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 months laboratory or warehouse experience preferred; basic math skills; ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds; capable of working in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment. High-Value: plasma collection and processing, blood-borne pathogen safety, SOP compliance, equipment calibration, data recording, and working with biological materials. WorkSetup: variable physical environment requiring PPE; overtime and extended hours may be necessary; location-specific wage range of $16.61-$18.13/hour.
