Plasma Processing Technician (Bilingual, Spanish & English)

Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma in compliance with SOPs. Objectives include ensuring product quality, proper labeling, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities: accurately collect and process plasma units, verify labels, monitor equipment and storage conditions, record donor data, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months experience in a lab or warehouse setting preferred; proficient in basic math and following instructions. High-value: involves working in a fast-paced environment handling biological samples, with exposure to bloodborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, and extreme temperatures. May require bilingual skills and cross-training. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and wearing PPE. Work setup: primarily on-site with potential for overtime; physical and safety protocols emphasized.
