Plasma Processing Technician (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for sampling, testing, labeling, storage, and shipping of donor plasma to ensure quality and compliance with SOPs. Objectives include maintaining sample integrity, accurate donor data recording, and proper environmental monitoring. Responsibilities: perform sterile sample collection, verify labeling accuracy, operate and calibrate equipment, monitor freezers and refrigerators, and ensure safety and confidentiality. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum three months laboratory or warehouse experience preferred; basic math skills. High-Value: role involves handling plasma for hyper immune programs or general biopharma plasma collection, requiring adherence to GxP and safety protocols; cross-training may be involved. Work setup: primarily on-site with physical demands such as standing, manual dexterity, and lifting up to 25 lbs; environment includes exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens; overtime and extended hours may be necessary.
