Plasma Processing Technician

Role: Plasma collection technician responsible for sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma, ensuring compliance with SOPs and product quality standards. Responsibilities include verifying label accuracy, maintaining sample integrity using sterile techniques, monitoring equipment conditions, recording donor data electronically, and adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols. May assist with shipping logistics and cross-train across roles as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse settings preferred; basic math skills; ability to follow detailed instructions. High-value specifics: Focus on plasma handling within a blood or plasma center, supporting hyper immune programs if applicable. Work setup involves a fast-paced environment with standing, manual dexterity, and handling hazardous materials. Overtime and extended hours may be required, with safety and OSHA adherence essential. Bilingual skills may be advantageous.
