About The Role
The Plant Finance Manager will be a key member of the Accounting/Finance team and a critical partner to the Supply Chain and Operations functions. This position will manage accounting and finance processes, support key inventory and cost-related functions, and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements. The role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- On a monthly basis, prepare and monitor budgeting and forecasting for inventory and inventory related cost centers and provide the site operations team with monthly actual vs. budget/forecast updates.
- Update quarterly production hours forecasting as part of the LE process.
- Support the annual forecast process for the site operational departments.
- Oversee the cycle count inventory program for the site.
- Prepare and analyze site inventory reserves including excess and obsolescence.
- Manage monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, account reconciliations, and COGS reporting.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure accurate ERP data and support manufacturing reporting.
- Lead costing setup, updates, and reporting processes for the East Windsor, NJ site.
- Review and track Equipment Purchase Requests (EPR) for the East Windsor, NJ site.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Accounting records including the monthly journal entries.
- Analyze and review inventory destruction requests.
- Support internal and external audit and SOX compliance activities.
- Continuously seek and implement process improvements across the accounting and finance function.

Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 yearsβ relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior pharmaceutical industry experience highly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment; ability to be in East Windsor, NJ site 3 days per week.
