Role Summary

The Planning & Forecasting Manager (LATAM) will support the Business Unit Finance Team and Finance Director by leading annual and monthly/quarterly forecast processes. This role coordinates, prepares scenarios, discusses, aligns and reports the financial forecasting information of the LATAM Business Unit, ensuring managerial financial reporting is performed in a timely manner and in forms required by corporate guidelines to facilitate managerial decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the preparation and coordination of the Short-Term Forecast, Annual Business Plan, and Long-Range Strategic Plan.
  • Collaborating with Business Unit Finance and cross-functional teams across LATAM to develop robust financial forecasts.
  • Building, updating, and maintaining financial models to deliver detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Driving simplification and standardization of planning processes to enhance efficiency and focus on value-added activities.
  • Understanding key business drivers and translating them into P&L and Cash Flow forecasts.
  • Analyzing variances against budget, prior year, and previous forecasts, and providing actionable insights.
  • Preparing and presenting internal management reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Managing ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams and the Finance Director.
  • Fostering a strong sense of unity and collaboration across finance teams in different geographies.
  • Leading and developing a team of 10+ finance professionals, providing mentorship and career development support.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Required: Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and analysis, preferably in a multinational corporate environment.
  • Required: Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Required: Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Required: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Required: Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Preferred: Background in Financial Controllership or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Preferred: Experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry.
