Phlebotomist - Inpatient

Role: Phlebotomist in a hospital/in-patient setting, responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and providing exceptional patient service. Objectives include ensuring accurate sample collection for diagnostic testing and maintaining specimen and patient data logs. Responsibilities encompass venipuncture, specimen prep, data entry, billing, and specimen handling; occasional travel to additional sites. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with certification or 6+ months of phlebotomy experience; preferred 1+ year inpatient experience or previous LabCorp employment. High-value biopharma specifics: experience with clinical specimen collection, patient interaction, and quality specimen handling in a healthcare environment. Work setup: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–6:30 pm, alternating weekends, with travel flexibility. Skills: strong communication, customer service, ability to work independently or as part of a team, reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, ability to pass color blindness test.
