Phlebotomist - Float- The Villages

Role: Phlebotomist providing specimen collection and customer service in a Patient Service Center, supporting diagnostic testing operations. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws across all ages; collect specimens for various tests (drug screens, paternity, alcohol); ensure accurate data entry and specimen processing; maintain logs; assist with billing and administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed; deliver exceptional patient care. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; certification or training in phlebotomy, or 3+ months experience; strong communication, customer service skills; ability to work independently; pass a color blindness test; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; 21+ years old. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: emphasis on specimen collection skills, customer service, flexibility for overtime and travel, and working in a diagnostic lab environment. Work Setup: Monday–Friday 6am–3pm, rotating weekends; potential travel to other sites.
