Phlebotomist Float

Role: Phlebotomist Float responsible for blood collection and specimen processing across multiple sites within the Orange and South LA County areas. Objectives include providing accurate blood draws, specimen preparation, and delivering exceptional patient service in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture, collect various specimens, maintain patient records, and support administrative tasks; travel between sites as needed. Requirements: at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, California CPT license or accredited training, strong customer service skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. High-Value: role involves working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics, supporting diagnostic testing and specimen handling. Work setup: flexible hours Monday–Friday 6 am–6 pm, with potential weekend shifts; travel required; hourly pay range $21–$33, with incentive bonuses and additional float pay. Qualifications: minimum of a year’s experience or accredited certification, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass color blindness screening. Additional preferred skills include prior experience at LabCorp, proficiency in both English and Spanish, and excellent communication skills.
