Phlebotomist Float

Role: Float Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection and specimen processing across multiple sites to support diagnostic services. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws for diverse patient groups, collect various specimens (drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests), accurately document patient and specimen data, process specimens for testing, and maintain logs. Also provides excellent customer service, handles administrative tasks, and travels to additional sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or equivalent training/experience; preferred: over one year of phlebotomy experience. High-value: clinical specimen collection, patient interaction, specimen processing, data entry, multi-site coverage, flexible schedule, and travel. Qualifications: proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently, pass a color blindness test, valid driver’s license, and minimum age of 21. Work setup: onsite with rotational weekends, flexible hours, travel involved, and incentive plans available.
